Festejar: Manchester's Free Spanish Festival
Music, food, friendship, life. ¡It's Manchester's first-ever Festejar!
5-7 September, Albert Square
In Spain festivals aren't about fleecing all your money or weeks of planning and packing. They're spontaneous, easy, and focused on just one thing: losing yourself for a few hours in a full-on celebration of life.
That's what you can do at Festejar, a free festival in Manchester city centre inspired by all things Spain. It means celebration and you say it like you see it – festejar.
There'll be top-flight musicians, street food, flamenco, salsa, language taster classes, percussion workshops, dancing, eating, partying, wine. It's a world of new sounds, new experiences and new flavours.
Performers include singer Iza from Barcelona, YouTube hit Pol 3.14 from Madrid, and the best Spanish bands based in Manchester including Break Latino and Alonso D.
Go down, you don't need a ticket. It's for all the family and it'll end your summer on a high.
