Looking for things to do in Manchester this summer? Dig the City is back.

Horticultural highlights include fabulous show gardens including an edible Tudor Garden from Ordsall Hall, a floral spectacular from Tatton Park, a craft garden from Manchester School of Art, sound garden from The Bridgewater Hall, and much more.

There'll be talks by celebrity garden experts Diarmuid Gavin and Rachel de Thame, arts and craft markets, fine food and live music.

For tiny green fingers the National Trust treehouse returns with “50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾”, there’s Stockley Farm in the City, (farm animals included), giant garden games, birdhouse and den-building, Roald Dahl storytelling, Royal Exchange Theatre Family Day, Peppa Pig, hands-on workshops,

Head to the St Ann's Square Festival Hub and beer garden to relax, dance among the plants at the Dig the City Disco and show your best at the W.I City Fete and RSPCA dog show.
