Story Time with Starbucks

If the thought of sitting on an open top bus and listening to a guide on repeat sends you over the edge, then Starbucks with Blue Badge Tour Guides are offering a city guide of a more innovative nature.

Throughout May, Blue Badge Tour Guides are holding National Share a Story Month.

The Blue Badge Tour Guides' special initiative called Windows on Manchester leads a series of themed walks around the city every Friday, focusing on various aspects of Manchester life such as film and tv locations, rock music, architecture, literature, art and contemporary living.

Sharing a story month isn’t exactly sit round a campfire, with a hand torch and a tin cup of tea, but you do get a free cup of coffee over a chat at Starbucks to complete the tour.

This Friday lunchtime the theme is literature, where locals will soak up all there is to know about libraries, theatres and city centre buildings, finishing the tour at Starbucks, Quay Street.

The tours take place every Friday in May at 1.00 at Starbucks, Hanging Ditch, Exchange Square and last about one and a half hours.
