Sounding like a kid’s TV programme, but I’m presuming a little more adult in content, Sally Lindsay and Friends will be bringing the house down on Monday night at the Comedy Store, all in aid of charity.
As the more alert amongst you may have already surmised, the night will involve Sally Lindsay (Shelley from Corrie) and, er, some of her friends, putting on a special show at the Comedy Store to raise money for Homestead (www.homestead.org.za), who help South African street children.
Now when I say ‘some of her friends’, I’m not talking about Christine from Sally’s local pub or her badminton partner Kimberley. Sally Lindsay has some pretty showbiz, and pretty funny friends, including Alan Carr, Justin Moorhouse and John Bishop, who will all be performing on the night. Not to mention a few familiar faces ‘off the telly’ who will be wandering up the road from Coronation Street for the occasion.
If you’d like to rub shoulders with the stars and perhaps make some of Sally Lindsay’s friends your friends, then click here or call 08705 932 932 to get yourself a ticket to the event.
Tickets are £8 - £10, with proceeds making their way to South Africa to help the little children.
