World class education needn't take forever. It should be well structured, constantly evolving to reflect commercial practices and presented by passionate professionals. That's what happens at Shillington College and we have the record to prove it. Our students are taught by outstanding graphic designers and are getting top design jobs. Starting with no prior knowledge they graduate with a professional design portfolio and an in-depth knowledge of the Adobe design programs.
In 1989, college director Andrew Shillington founded Shillington Graphics, the studio that preceded Shillington College. As an employer, Andrew wanted to hire talented designers but found it increasingly difficult to find suitable graduates - those with high-end computer skills and the ability to create quality design while meeting unreasonable deadlines. It became apparent that students leaving colleges and universities were not adequately trained in today's world of computers and design software. And so Shillington College was born.
We offer three-month full-time and one-year part-time courses in computer graphic design at our colleges in Manchester, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and at Shillington School in New York.
At Shillington College we treat the classroom like a studio environment, providing each student with their own computer for the duration of the course. The classroom is equipped with all the resources and tools needed to produce graphic design for today’s market including an extensive reference library. Shillington College prides itself on teaching the leading design programs on Mac computers.
The college's success is evident in the number of graduates attaining high-quality employment in the design industry. The emphasis is on training employable designers who can confidently take a brief, use the programs and meet a tight deadline.
But don't take our word for it. Visit our website where you can browse samples of our students’ design work and hear what some of our graduates have to say about their experiences as designers.
You can also find out more about our design course curriculum, course dates and much more.

I DID THE COURSE , it's impossible to be a graphic designer in 3 months. THEY KNOW HOW TO ADVERTISE THE COURSE . IT'S FAR TOO EXPENSIVE .
I decided to go there because I thought that it would be worth the money, I was wrong, stupid me I lost that money.. I think the course it's worth 4 5 hundreds but not 7 thousand ..
However u mange to come out with a portfolio which is a good thing .. but if u are a beginner and no experience , I would suggest u to go to another college...I think MOrly college is doing digital design course this year ...
I forgot to say that the teachers are graphic designers and very snobbish and arrogant , I hated them , too fake !!! if you don't believe me than enroll on the course and let me know in 6 months if I wasn't right ......I will tell my experience to everyone because that college is disgasting and I felt humiliated too. bastards!!!
You paid whaaat for a three months course? Seven large ones?
Have you considered:
A- getting your head examined
B- if A has a successful outcome (of which I have serious doubts) , enrol in the most expensive Oxbridge college you can come across for less?
David it's pretty hard to take you seriously when your grammar is as bad as that :P
...PS: if you think you wasted your money, how do you think I feel after blowing over £20K in student loans on studying at Liverpool Hope Uni... or 'No Hope' as me and my peers called it.
Biggest mistake of my life that was!
