Bold Street grafitti put down to “Tesco haters”.

In pictures....Writing on the wall

EVERY little helps, but when a big tin of black paint gets into idle hands, anything goes. One member of staff at the “new” Tesco Express in Bold Street put this latest grafitti, on the site of the Bold Street Produce Market, down to “Tesco haters”. Surely not.

The legend “Blame Tesco.” with a neat full stop, appeared on Monday morning, on the wall adjacent to the contoversial piece of land which, until last week, the Christian family had plied their fruit and veg wares for decades. Full story here.

Regrettably, with the relatively recent closure of nearby Rapid, it could be a while before someone obtains a few litres of white paint to daub it away. It won't disappear easily. With the family due back on the site soon, we are reminded that some things are a bugger to get rid of.
