Fancy becoming a movie mogul?

Lights…camera…take action. This is your chance to invest in a Hollywood blockbuster.

Fancy becoming a movie mogul?

Thanks to a new tax credit for British Films, investing in the UK film industry has never been so risk free. A Manchester film crew are now planning to capitilise on the tax breaks for their new film feature which is already turning heads in Hollywood.

Film sales companies are currently fighting for the sale of the international distribution rights to the psychological horror film which is well on its way to being a box office success. The film is being cast by casting director Michelle Smith who was also responsible for casting Cold Feet and Phoenix Nights to name a few.

Production company, Splintered Films Ltd is now raising £900,000 which they plan to open up to potential investors wishing to capitalise on the tax breaks. High net worth individuals wishing to invest will qualify for all EIS tax benefits including income tax relief at the rate of 20% on the cost of their shares, capital gains tax deferral, and loss relief.

The film will also qualify for the Government’s new film tax credit which will produce a cash rebate from the Treasury equal to 20% of all expenditure in the UK. This amount will also go straight back to the shareholders.

Having previously worked on raising finance for films such as The Da Vinci Code and Band of Brothers, financial broker Stephen Lundy, from Berkeley Morgan, is the advisor for Splintered Films Ltd.

He said: ‘This is a very attractive scheme, it’s simple and transparent. Combining both EIS Income Tax relief and the Producer Tax Credit means that the amount at risk is substantially reduced. It’s hard to see how investors can make a significant loss given the various reliefs.’

The offer is not open for long, with the expected closing date being the end of September 2007, so for an exciting and potentially profitable investment opportunity which combines healthy tax breaks and the chance to be part of the world of movie production, simply fill out the form below and we will arrange for an information pack to be sent to you.
