Fan-tastic: Reds win another title...

..but mild outrage from notable Blues as Liverpool notch up "good-looks" trophy

Fan-tastic: Reds win another title...

IT may be a few years since Liverpool last won the league but here’s a title that holds much more prestige.

Yes, apparently Reds fan can call themselves the best looking fans in the country beating Premier League rivals Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Sky HD worked with top model agency D1 Model Management to study footage of crowds from every Premier League match last season, scanning their facial attributes and symmetry of features to produce a top 20. Way down the list were Stanley Park rivals Everton in 16th place.

But today, the chairman of Downtown Liverpool in Business, Frank McKenna, was joined by another lifelong Everton fan who dismissed the findings and said the study left many questions unanswered.

"It's scandalous. Derek Hatton and I demand a review of the findings," he spluttered, in an email leaked by himself to Liverpool Confidential, referring to the former deputy leader of the council, who is also a "bitter" blue.

"Surely our combined good looks should take Everton to the top of this particular league."

So, there you have it. Your average Anfield season ticket holder could soon see themselves modelling undies on the catwalk. But doubtless the fall-out from this one is set to run and run until, possibly, the weekend.

If Liverpool fans came out tops why did Everton only come 16th? Now I know why 'The friendly derby' is now known as 'The Ugly derby'. Come on Evertonians. Bit of foundation, a nice wig and a muzzy and you can be nearly as handsome as us reds!.

I notice that the Daily Post have your story on page 23 of today's paper, two days after you. Do they always nick your stories or are they just a bit slow off the mark?

They say Vasilly Perchenko is popular but look at the picture of the philharmonic audience when Simon Throttle was conductor.

Of course they could reproduce the image at Goodison you fool. They have an away section with good looking fans during The Derby. Although the Everton supporters look like creatures from The Epsom derby. Even worse is the Evertonians ringleader, David Moyes. He looks like E.T. with a stupid wig on.
