Dpercussion Festival… it’s on!

So, a couple of weeks ago it seemed that all was lost. Dpercussion had announced that unless they find £40,000 from somewhere then the year of the bomb’s tenth anniversary Manchester would have to go without the festival.

But then… a Knight in shining armour came galloping to the rescue in the form of Manchester fashion brand Bench and Hooch, who will sponsor the main stage and save the festival. Hurrah!

However, the intervention of Bench and Hooch will still not be enough to meet the entire shortfall in funding. For this reason, Dpercussion will be asking audiences to donate £2 each to the festival this year – an idea that seemed very popular in the supportive emails and various message boards.

In a further effort to keep costs down, Dpercussion are asking for volunteers to help out, with jobs ranging from general events assistants to artist liaison. If you would like to be a part of this year’s festival, then email ilovedpercussion@dpercussion.com.
