One of the Account Managers at Manchester Confidential is leaving us in favour of a beach in Thailand, so we're looking for someone who can fill her capable shoes.
It's an opportunity to join an expanding social media company with city centre offices, a growing list of clients, and a readership that exceeds 285,000. If you want to work at the forefront of digital marketing, and at the centre of Manchester life, this is the place to be.
The job title is Account Manager but that doesn't quite sum it up. As well as managing advertising campaigns for a varied range of clients (everything from airlines to aquariums) you'll be involved in event management and in developing ideas for e-commerce.
The full job description is given below. The more ticks you can place against it the better, but don't be discouraged from applying if you've not got the full range of experience. Client handling experience and digital and social media experience are desirable but we'll consider all applicants with the right skills and attitude.
We're looking for someone who is super-organised and able to maintain and build good relations with clients. You'll need to be a bit of an all-rounder – in one day you could be analysing campaign stats, developing a new promotion idea for a client, and helping to set-up one of our events for readers.
If you're looking for a varied role where you can show off your client management skills and put your digital marketing ideas into practice, it could be for you.
Pay is competitive – between £21,000 and £27,000 depending on your experience.
