PLANS TO BUILD 300 HOMES on the site of Booth Hall Children’s Hospital have been approved by Manchester City Council. The hospital has been closed since 2009 but attempts to sell it were hampered by the fact that any developers had to keep the original administration building. The council has now granted permission for the building to be torn down.
