Joss Stone has been the target of a murder plot by two men from Manchester.  The two men were arrested near the singers’ home in Devon last June. During the trial at Exeter crown court Kevin Liverpool, 34, denied attempting to rob and harm Miss Stone however his accomplice Junior Bradshaw, 31, did not enter any plea.

A Woman from Openshaw has been jailed for robbing a disabled man in his mobility scooter. Natasha Dignum, 20, assaulted the man who suffers from Cerebral Palsy, as he was withdrawing money from a cash machine. Miss Dignum grabbed the man by the genitals when he refused to comply and then threatened to stab him with a needle. Det Con Rachel Eaton stated that the incident has had a profound affect on the man. “Dignum not only stole his money, but also his independence.”

Mario Ballotelli is to be the face of Manchester’s firework safety campaign ‘Treacle’. The young Italian only just escaped a firework mishap himself in the early hours of Saturday morning. A firework set off in a first floor bathroom was the cause of the fire that spread through the footballers mansion and resulted in firefighters being called to the scene.

Raging Pensioners are a hit on Youtube in a video created by Lancashire Police. The pensioners are seen boozing heavily, spray painting walls and egging houses. The spoof video has had over 3500 hits and is aimed at younger people to help them realise how stupid this behaviour is.
