BARELY had a hog been roasted or a wine mulled before the passageways of Manchester’s Christmas Markets were swarming with people. We went for a wander to capture a snippet of the first few hours of activity on video and to give you an idea of what to expect this festive season. There's a gallery down below too. Enjoy.
There are nine Manchester Christmas Market locations:
Corn Exchange, Exchange Square, New Cathedral Street, Exchange Street, St Ann's Square, King Street, Brazennose Street, Corporation Street and Albert Square (the hub).
From Friday 15 November - Sunday 22 December
Albert Square is open seven days a week from 10am - 9pm
Other market sites: November 10am - 7.30pm (bars until 9pm), December 10am - 8pm (bars until 9pm)
FREE to visit. Download the brochure here.
