Bling-bling! Bling-bling!

Would you? Could you? £1.92m buys you world's priciest iPhone - made in Liverpool of course....

Bling-bling! Bling-bling!

THIS festive, what do you give the apple of your eye?

The Apple of your i, of course – made from 53 flawless diamonds.

Liverpudlian designer Stuart Hughes, 38, the city's original diamond geezer, has created this, the world's most expensive iPhone 3g – and more impressively, he's flogged it.

This little baby, from his somewhat aptly named business in the city, Goldstriker International, has a price tag of £1.92m and was 10 months in the making.

It was commissioned by an Aussie richperson and is currently on its way down under and in its box: in this case, a seven kilo chest made from solid granite and gold. The geek equivalent of the Faberge egg.

Do international roaming charges apply?

One suspects £12 optional monthly insurance from Orange isn't going to

cover it, should you carelessly drop it into the washing up bowl.

"The iPhone is the phone with the most tricks on the market. What possibly could we do to trick it up more? Bless it with the finest precious metal and jewels," declares Stuart.

The whole casing was created with 271 grams of 22ct solid gold. The front bezel houses 136 flawless diamonds, which total to 68 carats. The rear logo in solid gold has 53 flawless diamonds amounting to 1 carat and the front navigation button is home to a single cut, very rare diamond at 7.1 carats.

"Most of the ten months was spent trying to source the diamond for the navigation button," said Mr Hughes, who, unsurprisingly, gives no clue as to where, in the city, his workshop might be.

As well as a gold iPhone 3G, Mr Hughes has previously blinged up an Apple iPod, a belt, watches and belts. All are encrusted with jewels, on Goldstriker's online store in which every one, literally, is a gem.

However, you don't need a sugar daddy to get your hands on this gear. The good news is a diamond-encrusted Blackberry will cost you just four grand.

It'll still take crap pictures though.

Bloody hell. Don't know about a £2 million phone but the fella here looks like a ghost. Stephanie de Leng, go and get yourself commissioned to take some new pictures of these people - and make sure you charge full whack.
