FOLLOWING four days of love, colour, carnival, mayhem, music, floats, fanfare, glitter cannons, Pixies, Big Boos and a bearded Austrian Eurovision drag artist, Manchester's annual celebration of all things lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender drew to a close late on Monday 25 August.
This year's Big Weekender included a packed Pride Parade on Saturday 23 August with three-deep crowds lining the entire route from Castlefield's Liverpool Road, down Deansgate and on to Sackville Gardens in The Gay Village.
The four-day celebration also saw a number of internationally-acclaimed artists perform, including: Anastacia, Pixie Lott, Foxes, Conchita and All Saints alongside an X Factor troop of Amelia Lily, Lucy Spraggan, Misha B and Marcus Collins.
Here's a collection of some of the best snaps from across the weekend:

In the photo 'Brooke Vincent and Kym Marsh at the parade'? Is that Gimboid on the right or is it Maggie?
Crikey, you're a sad one, aren't you? Jog on.
Gimboid is younger and more attractive than we imagined then.
Jog on? Ha, ruffled a pink feather or rwo there me thinks.
An obscure non-insult by an Anon? Nope, me feathers are unruffled. You'll have to try harder if that's what you're trying to do.
If anyone in the LGBT community feels they would like to have more say on Pride events in the future, please sign the following petition which calls for a public meeting to be held with Manchester Pride, Manchester City Council and GMP. t.co/mv3H6y8cfp…
why sign a petition when you can attend one of the listening groups or community collective meetings....
No mention for Les Dennis hamming it up on the Corrie float - scandalous!!!
