A GANG of thieves who were caught on camera distracting people at cashpoints in Manchester are still believed to be offending.
We are becoming increasingly concerned about this group. They are actively targeting people at cashpoints."
More CCTV images have been released from another incident at Sainsbury's on Cross Street in the city centre on Monday 24 December 2012.
The group have actively been targeting elderly victims, hovering around them to watch the PIN number being typed in before claiming that there is a problem with the machine.
The offenders then manage to get hold of bank cards which have been used a short time later to make purchases.
Such incidents have taken place at Halifax and Natwest branches at Piccadilly Gardens and at Santander on Cross Street at about 4.25pm on Monday 10 December 2012.
Detective Constable Daniel Noland said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned about this group, who appear to be undeterred by our efforts to trace them.
"They are actively targeting people at cashpoints and we therefore urge anyone trying o withdraw cash that they are aware of their surroundings and that they enter their PIN number with discretion.
"The images we have released are very clear and I am confident that the offenders' faces will be recognised by people they know.
"I urge them to come forward and help our investigation.
"We are continuing to work closely with banks and retailers."

Well done Man Con for publicising these deplorable offences.
Lets have all Man Con readers looking after our vulnerable older people in the community by watching out for the scum who are preying on them
This is a disgrace, well done indeed for shaming them. If it was someone that I knew I would shop them and never speak with them again, friend, family or aquaintence!!
And if any are ilegal imigrants - deport them!
