A model way to live

A model way to live

It is one of the most elegant objects of desire: Sophie Anderton's got one and so has Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts.

A Tiffany ring? Not quite, but the setting is just as stunning. We are talking about an apartment in Old Hall Street's very own Grade II-listed jewel, The Albany, which has been polished and restored to create 123 luxury homes where the discerning celeb and mere city mortal can strut their stuff side by side.

Now the search is on to find one lucky individual with star quality who will not only win a modelling contract with top Liverpool agency Impact Models but will live in the lap of luxury, rent free, in an Albany apartment for a whole year.

Albany Assets, which owns the development, has teamed up with Radio City 96.7 to discover the catwalk king or queen of tomorrow.

The winner of the competition will also bag £1,000 of clothes from Drome and gold card membership of Mosquito for one year.

And anyone else who fancies living in an Albany apartment permanently will be helping a good cause when they sign up for a purchase too: For the duration of the competition, Albany is giving three percent of net apartment sales to Radio City's Give a Child a Chance charity. This equates to £6,000 on a £200,000 apartment and £9,000 on a £300,000 apartment and so on.

There can only be one winner of this exciting competition, which is open for entries until February 11, and he or she will be decided by text vote and announced on Friday Febuary 23, with a party in Mosquito to celebrate.

There are more than 60 entrants already but if you think you've got what it takes, send a photo (maximum of three, including a headshot) of yourself along with your name, age (over 18s only), email address and phone number to this address.

To view and vote for your favourite model, click here text "Model" plus the model number to 83070. You can start voting from February 12 up to February 21. Texts will cost 50p plus your standard rate, 25p of every text will go to Give a Child a Chance.
