If you’re looking to treat your mum to more than just chocolates and a card this Mother’s Day, then why not take her to City Café at Mint Hotel for Sunday lunch?
You can eat as much as you want for just £15.95 - enjoying three delicious courses in a relaxed, indulgent environment. After starting with a buffet of salads, continental meats and baked tarts, you can then go on to choose your main course from the menu.
Each week there is a different roast joint of the day with a Rump of 28 day aged Scottish beef always available alongside a fresh fish dish. All mains come with a selection of seasonal vegetables and roast and new potatoes which are served family-style on the table.
There’s a whole range of options for dessert with the Stem ginger and rhubarb crème brulée ever popular with diners. If you’re wanting a more classic end to your meal then maybe the Raspberry trifle or Apple and blackberry crumble is more to your taste.
If you want to take your mum out for dinner with the whole family then you can be assured that your children will be kept entertained – there's bottomless ice-cream with plenty of toppings (both sugary and healthy). The lunch is half price for under eights and free for under fives which is music to most mothers’ ears.
City Café overlooks Piccadilly Plaza, near Piccadilly station. The £15.95 Sunday Lunch runs every Sunday, not just Mother's Day. Why not give it a test run this Sunday before you take Mum on 3 April?
To book, just call Mint Hotel on 0161 242 1000.
