Shake Your Own Cocktails at Southern Eleven

FANCY yourself as a bit of bartender? Now is the time to see if you can shake it with the best by having a go yourself at this new Manchester BBQ restaurant.

Order one of the ‘shake your own’ cocktails at Southern Eleven and the bar will provide you with the ingredients, cocktail shaker, and ice, letting you get on with the fun part of shaking it to perfection.

It brings the art of cocktail making out from behind the bar and is a great way of getting people involved in the party down at Southern Eleven.

If you fancy choosing the ingredients but want to let the professionals do the shaking, there is also a ‘create your own’ cocktail menu. Choose your favourite base spirit, liqueur, juice and fruit and one of the highly trained mixologists will knock up something delicious.

The restaurant is offering a new style of American dining experience, using authentic cooking techniques to create contemporary Southern dishes. The ‘while you waits’ menu in particular is a perfect complement to a couple of after-work drinks.

Weekedays bring happy hour and drinks promotions, along with a live DJ until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

They've got an offer running right now that gives you two courses plus a drink for £13.99 –get your Southern Eleven voucher.

Southern Eleven is situated next to the entrance to Pure Gym and seats 85 indoors and 30 outdoors. A communal table carved from an oak tree runs half the length of the restaurant and sits 20 people – ideal for birthdays or office parties.

Want to try shaking your own at Southern Eleven? No need to book, just ask the bar tender when you go in.
