Christmas At Livebait

LIVEBAIT has sent us its Christmas menu to peruse. It's enough to tempt us away from turkey in favour of fishier festive treats.

52Ey_KThe seafood options include smoked salmon, horseradish potatoes and watercress as a starter, and a whole Mediterranean sea bass with fennel, lemon and parsley potatoes as a main.

But if you're dining with people who prefer the traditional Christmas dinner, they won't be disappointed. Opt for a starter of chicken liver parfait with soldiers and quince jam, followed by turkey ballotine with sage stuffing and trimmings.

52Ez_KDesserts include Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and vanilla cheesecake with blood orange sorbet.

Livebait has a private dining room which you can book for up to 30 people. Or book a table in the restaurant for a smaller gathering. The classic décor and distinguished setting of a nineteenth century textile warehouse live up to the occasion.
