WHEN we took four celebrities along to Red Hot World Buffet (allegedly -see here for Snoop Dog, Damon Albarn, Sinead O'Connor and Bjork's review of the restaurant) they were disappointed. They found the food quality a bit poor.
It seems they were alone. We've had this news from the Red Hot World Buffet. The place is raking it in by chucking the food out.
On Friday 16 December the Deansgate Red Hot World Buffet, the group's largest, saw record takings, receiving more than £40,000 on food alone from 1,878 covers.
And get this. Red Hot World Buffet has more than 900 people booked in for their Christmas Day meal.
Mad world.

Ooh, you witty bugger!
It's fun, that's all
pretty sad that 900 people have nowhere better to be on Christmas day.
They probably won't be there all day, to be fair.
Manchester is home, both temporarily and permanently, to thousands of people who dont celebrate Christmas for religious or cultural reasons. Just sayin' like.
Wait till you see all those sadoids in the 'sales' on Boxing Day...
I didn't go for Xmas day, but for a friend's birthday on 28th Dec, I loved the food, well most of it, though drinks were very slow and often wrong, but to be fair we were in a party of 30 and the whole place was full! I think for price, the food is pretty good, at least you know everyone will find something they like?
On a bad note though they did bring the bill without us asking for it, and some of us were still eating. Rude. But Cheap.
