Michael Caines Tickets, 12/09/2011: Last Chance

MANCHESTER Food and Drink Festival (MFDF) motors with some more excellent events.

This time its An Evening with Michael Caines at Abode.

The menu will include canapés,  soup, tartar of marinated tuna wasabi mayonnaise, pickled beetroot and turnip honey and soy vinaigrette sirloin of Cumbrian beefhorseradish and shallot confit, roast shallots,wild mushrooms and red wine sauce, fig soufflé mascarpone ice cream each course individually matched with wine.

Caines will be hosting the dinner at his eponymous MFDF Restaurant of the Year nominee, Michael Caines Restaurant at ABode Manchester in support of Hospitality Action - a charity which Michael is patron for in the Northwest. 

50% of all ticket sales will be donated to Hospitality Action and a raffle will be happening on the night in aid of the charity. For over 170 years Hospitality Action, the Hospitality Industry Benevolent Organisation, has offered vital assistance to all who work, or have worked within hospitality in the UK and who find themselves in crisis.

Michael will work alongside Executive Chef Mark Rossi with a celebration of local and seasonal produce. Michael will introduce each course, with the assistance of sommelier Steve Edwards, who will be offering tasting notes on the selected wines that accompany each course. Diners will be treated to a Champagne and canapés reception with Michael at 7pm, before being seated for dinner at 7.30pm.

For over 170 years Hospitality Action, the Hospitality Industry Benevolent Organisation, has supported hospitality industry workers, suffering from life altering illnesses such as Parkinson’s disease, cancer and Multiple Sclerosis.

The event is on Wednesday 12 October at 7pm at Michael Caines Restaurant at Abode Manchester. Price: £90 and £81 for dining club members and their guests. 50% of the ticket value will be donated to Hospitality Action. To confirm your space please call 0161 200 5662 to make your booking.
