LAUNCH: Gusto Opens on Deansgate
 

LIVING VENTURES, the Knutford-based bar and restaurant group behind Manchester's Australasia, Manchester House and Oast House, launched their latest £1.3m city centre restaurant and bar last night.

Gusto - a high-end Italian operation with restaurants in Alderley Edge, Cheadle Hulme, Didsbury and Knutsford - opened the first of the new Café Grande breed in Deansgate’s newly refurbished Grade II-listed Elliot House.

Guests on the night included Fast Show and Cold Feet star John Thomson, The Courteeners, Noddy Holder and members of The Happy Mondays and Stone Roses.
