Let Shalimar Transport You To Bollywood

An evening of Bollywood at Cheshire’s premium Indian restaurant

Published on May 16th 2013.

Let Shalimar Transport You To Bollywood

Bollywood is coming to Cheshire and the area’s authentic Indian restaurant is offering diners a totally different experience.

Fusing traditional and modern Indian dishes in sumptuous surroundings, the chefs at Shalimar pride themselves on preparing food using traditional methods with delicate flavouring and fresh ingredients.

And for one night only they are combining their flair for Indian cooking with a cultural extravaganza, bringing the vibrancy, energy and colour of Bollywood into the restaurant.

Diners can expect a three course authentic Indian meal, henna tattooing and an Asian dance group for traditional entertainment. Signature dishes, tandoori specials and recommendations from the award-winning chefs including Raj Style Lamb and Chilli Jingra make up the menu and, for the Bollywood event, a special menu selection will include a mix of old favourites and Shalimar specialties. Ladies who arrive in traditional Indian dress will be given a free drink on arrival. It’s clear that the staff at Shalimar really like their guests to join in the fun.

Shalimar’s stylish atmosphere makes it the perfect venue for a night of celebration and this special event promises to be just that. So, book early as places are limited and it certainly sounds like one you won’t want to miss.

The event takes place on Friday 31st May, starting at 7pm.

To book, call Shalimar on 01625 444 845 and quote Manchester Confidential
