FAZENDA, the Brazilian rodizio bar and grill, opened its doors in Manchester last week.

This opulent new opening offers a unique take on gaucho-style dining, giving customers an experience that’s a cut above.

This is a restaurant which has already perfected its operation in Liverpool and Leeds before opening in Manchester"

How? It starts with high quality of the meats which include fillet, rib-eye and sirloin, plus Brazilian favourite the ‘picanha’ or cap of rump. You receive a continuous tableside service of fifteen different cuts, just signal to the ‘passadores’ (meat chefs) by displaying a green or red card, and they serve you accordingly.

Prime chicken, lamb and pork are also on the menu, while a bountiful salad bar includes options such as sushi, smoked salmon, cured meats and traditional Brazilian dishes.

The quality of the food is matched by a fantastic wine list. They’re real aficionados here with wine masterclasses and an inspired selection of labels from around the world.

This is a restaurant which has already perfected its operation in Liverpool and Leeds before opening in Manchester, so expect to be treated well. Its staff know their stuff – from which wines will suit your palate, to how to keep you happy right through the dining experience.

Confidential readers were given a sneak preview of Fazenda last week, and from what they told us, it stood out above the crowd. They said:

@Mark_Hague: “I cannot recommend Fazenda enough. Fantastic food, service was top draw and really good atmosphere. Will be back!”

“Overwhelmed with how fabulous Fazenda is. Food is delicious, staff are amazing and we can't wait to come back.” @CjMeacher

“Great service, huge choice, delicious food and I especially loved the pork & honey and the lamb & mint.@Haonharas

Gordo’s been too (of course):

“Churrascarias in the North West have generally given a bad name to what is a brilliant Brazilian idea. Fazenda has changed this. As a trained Master Butcher from a family of three generations of butchers, The Mighty One can guarantee you, the reader, nothing less than the best quality beef in this establishment. This is a firm Gordo go.”

Go and experience it for yourself. Fazenda Manchester is now open on The Avenue, Spinningfields.
