Confidential’s bespoke Food and Drink Festival Award

Dear readers, which Manchester Food Hero needs recognising right now?

Published on August 23rd 2010.

Confidential’s bespoke Food and Drink Festival Award

This is your chance to be a judge for October’s Manchester Food and Drink Festival Awards - especially if you don’t like the shortlist they’ve already come up with (click here). If you do like the list then you can vote for your fave entrant here.

Confidential in association with the Food and Drink Festival organisers have created a category called the Manchester Food Hero Award (heroines may be nominated as well). And we want this to be as wide-ranging as possible.

On the form below please feel free to nominate any food and drink related person or business that you think has provided sterling service, real quality or unbelievable commitment to making Greater Manchester a better food and drink region.

Everybody and every business can be in your sights from top chefs to great waiting staff to dinner ladies; from five star dining venues through wonderful bars to classic pubs via great catering companies and excellent foodie shops.

As mentioned above, you could even treat this as therapy and use it to cock a snoop at the official judges of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival Awards. If you think they’re way off let us know your alternative to their shortlist.

Gordo and Schofield will cast their eyes over the entries and decide which of the ideas put forward by readers makes the best case for Manchester Food Hero 2010. The winner will be announced at the Manchester Food and Drink Festival Gala Dinner on 11 October at the Hilton on Deansgate.

Let your imagination fly with this one.

Have fun.

We’d love to hear your thoughts.
