Taste Something Special At Tea 42

WITH their five-course taster menu, Tea 42 have really democratised fine dining in Manchester. At only £24.95, you can expect plate after plate of delicious tastes.

It feels naughty, it feels wicked, but this is one piece of culinary misbehaviour that’s worth any penance.

But this is fine dining without the pomp. Just quality ingredients prepared with skill and exquisite dishes that exemplify modern British cooking at its best. Forget stuffy napkins that are fussily refolded if you go to the toilet, and instead relax in a friendly and inviting space where fantastic food isn’t just for special occasions; it’s a way of life.

This determination to open up the world of gastronomic experiences is central to Tea 42. Not only is their taster menu excellent value but all of their dishes are available gluten free with many also available as dairy free options.

The five course taster menu is available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm and Tea 42 are currently running a promotion in which diners eating from the taster menu on Thursday nights will receive a complimentary glass of champagne. Find out more here.

From the first amuse bouche to the final decadence of dessert, every mouthful is sensational. Pulled pork rillettes are paired with the clever and intriguing combination of seaweed and wasabi whilst the duck breast with beetroot, chocolate and orange is well worth the £2 supplement. It feels naughty, it feels wicked, but this is one piece of culinary misbehaviour that’s worth any penance.

Tea 42 is an affordable piece of luxury. Only one question remains: Can you afford not to?
