Cocktail-making parties at Hard Rock Café

The Hard Rock Café at the Printworks is offering the perfect way to learn the art of cocktail making – a lesson with their team of mixologists followed by some scrumptious Hard Rock food.

Good food, good drinks, and the chance to learn the craft of making a fine cocktail.

The Shake It Up sessions, for groups of between 10 and forty, are ideal as a rock and roll birthday party, hen or stag activity, a team-building treat with colleagues, or just as an ace way to get together with friends.

First off, you'll learn some of the background to Hard Rock Café and their signature cocktails. You’ll then be taken through each step of creating the perfect cocktails, including the key techniques – build, blend, shaken and stirred.

You’ll be making some of the cocktails, and even designing your own drink with a name and story behind it. You will, of course, get to drink all the cocktails (three each).

The package includes a buffet menu or sit down meal offering some of Hard Rock’s favourite eats.

There’s the Jumbo Combo buffet which includes nachos, Santa Fe spring rolls, hickory smoked chicken wings, onion rings, potato skins, Tupelo chicken tenders. Including the lesson, and the three cocktails, it's £35 per person.

The Who buffet option includes homemade salsa and tortilla chips, famous fajita station, mini Hard Rock burgers, Santa Fe spring rolls, Rock-style crudités, and loaded potato skins. Including the lesson, and the three cocktails, it's £40 per person.

For a more formal affair, there is the Platinum sit down meal which features lip-smacking mains such as a full rack of barbecue ribs with seasoned fries and coleslaw, and grilled wild Alaskan salmon with confetti rice and fresh vegetables. You also get a hot fudge sundae and a drink. Including the lesson, and the three cocktails, it's £40 per person.

So – good food, good drinks, and the chance to learn the craft of making a fine cocktail. What more could you want from your party or event? Rock on.
