City Café Sunday lunches for just £7.95

Sundays can go either way – get dragged down into chores or cooking and they're not that great. Treat yourself to a fine meal in a fine restaurant and they're the highlight of the week. Especially if you don't spend much money while you're at it.

At City Café right now you can get a humdinger of a deal on an indulgent Sunday lunch. For just £7.95 you'll have a choice of dishes that are bound to impress.

If you're looking for a roast, there's aged roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, or loin of pork with caramelized shallot and shallot puree, and purple sprouting broccoli.

The fish option is pan fried sea bream with wilted spinach, tomato sauce and black olives.

There's a vegetarian option of open ravioli of fennel, shitaki mushrooms and tomato. Or a salad Lyonnaise with soft poached egg, bacon, crispy leaves and grain mustard.

City Café is in Mint Hotel, which used to be known as City Inn. It's situated opposite Piccadilly station and is all about distinctive modern design outside and in.

Its reputation for excellent food, a lovely dining room, and a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere is quickly growing in Manchester.

£7.95 would be a good deal at an ordinary local eatery or country pub, but City Café is a first-class city centre restaurant – this is extraordinary good value.

And it gets better. For two courses, it's just £9.95. For three courses, it's only £12.95.

The deal is available on:
Sunday 24 April
Monday 25 April (Bank Holiday)
Sunday 1 May
Monday 2 May (Bank Holiday)
Sunday 8 May
Sunday 15 May

There are only 200 places though so book as soon as possible to get your preferred date.
