The Big Indie Wine And Cheese Fest 2012

The Big Indie Wine and Cheese Fest 2012

Freemasons Hall, Manchester, Friday 28 and Saturday 29 September 2012.

It's a highlight of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival – and it's back in a beautiful new setting for 2012.

The Big Indie Wine and Cheese Fest is your chance to experience an extensive range of exciting, elusive and boutique wines, brought to Manchester by independent merchants. No retail giants are permitted - this event is about showcasing the magnificent indie wine retailers that we are lucky enough to still have in the region, and the kind of wines you won't find down at your local Tesco.

In the grand setting of the Freemasons Hall on Bridge Street, you'll discover the fruits of hand-picked retailers, and the best wine producers from around the globe.

And alongside the wines, there'll be a selection of independent cheese producers on hand to help you match cheeses to bespoke wines.

Everyone is welcome – wine enthusiasts, connoisseurs and novices alike.

So collect your tasting glass as you enter, then go and explore. Revelatory wines and cheeses await you...

  • Over 80 fantastic wines
  • Over 15 independent wine merchants
  • Ticket includes all your tastings throughout the sessions
  • Indie cheese producers – find a cheese that matches your wine
