Sensual Eating Supper Club: Food for Thought

Sensual Eating Supper Club

I ADMIT, I’ve an eye for the pretty things. I enjoy luscious, beautiful food. I sample the crème de la crème of natural, clean, and organic skincare for my Body Confidential column. And I’m a bibliophile with a collection to rival Waterstone’s’ psychology and self-help section.

When girlfriends stop by to visit, they loiter in the bathroom noseying about ("You’ve so many gorgeous smelling candles and lovely products"), before tucking into my latest tasty ‘sensual food’ find (“That cheese is to die for”). They usually also listen to a lecture or borrow a book. Nourishing and nurturing, that’s what my home’s all about.

And so, I thought it’d be a nice idea to extend the welcome and invite folk over to The Mark Addy for a Sensual Eating ‘Food for Thought’ supper club.

After a welcome drink, chef Robert Owen Brown will rustle up three unashamedly pleasurable courses. Meanwhile, throughout the evening, I’ll offer a little food for thought on how guests can begin to reconnect with what’s most authentic in their lives. Guests will also receive a copy of my book (Running Into Myself) and a gorgeous skincare treat too. An evening devoted entirely to nurturing mind, body, and soul – and all for just £40.

So if you’re already sick of the Valentine’s Day hoopla and want to treat yourself (because, as we’re incessantly reminded, you’re worth it), then join us. And don’t let it stop you if you’ve no-one to come along with – there’ll be a table (or few) where you can join other likeminded kin.

This 2012 reconnect with what matters most – you.

Wednesday 22 February 7pm – 10pm

The Mark Addy, Stanley St, Salford, Manchester, M3 5EJ
