Kitchen at The Circle launches Tiki cocktail menu

Classic 1950s cocktails – it's half price on selected cocktails after work on weekdays

Kitchen at The Circle launches Tiki cocktail menu

Kitchen at The Circle has launched a classic Tiki cocktail menu inspired by the Hula rum-based classics of 1950s America.

Prices start from £7.50 for the kitsch coolers and selected cocktails are half price from 5.30pm to 7pm every weekday.

The signature Tiki Kitsch brings dark and light rums to life with fresh mint and lime juice sweetened by sugars, while Kitchy Punch is full of passion fruit with a dash of soda. Other classics include the Coconut, a moreish mix of rum, coconut and lime. The Zombie gets its name from the after-effects. The Coconaut.jpg

A new bar area has been created in the restaurant for revellers to enjoy the cocktail hour in style. In addition to the new Tiki drinks, there is a classic cocktail menu featuring everything from Cosmopolitans to Porn Star Martinis.

“With our new Tiki cocktail menu and bar area we have the perfect recipe for those who want to chill out this summer,” said managing director, Craig Ince.

The restaurant will still be open as normal, serving rustic Mediterranean-inspired dishes from breakfast through to dinner.

And cocktail lovers can make a night of it by going straight to the legendary Circle Club from the upstairs Kitchen restaurant without re-queuing.

Head to Kitchen at The Circle in Barton Arcade for half price cocktails after work, or call 0161 817 4921 to find out more.

I stopped at Kitchen today, hadn't seen this offer but was given a menu advertising £4 cocktails which we were charged £8 for. No disclaimer on there about it only being certain times/days. Was somewhat annoyed when I raised the issue with the waitress to be told I should have picked up the flyer (face down under the vase of flowers on our table), or just guessed that it was a limited offer.

I like the new Mosi coffee shop, pleasant to walk past of a morning.

Rosie, that's the ticket, tell 'em. We'll tell them too and sort it. The new bar area works better for Kitchen I reckon. And look, it's minutes away from noon, one of those lovely Cosmopolitans might just do the trick.
