Hair of the Dog

Got big plans for the Bank Holiday weekend? By Sunday you'll no doubt be in need of a feast and some easy entertainment to help recharge your batteries. Well, you're in luck...

Black Dog Ballroom Sunday Sessions begin on bank Holiday Sunday, 30 May from 1pm-6pm. Music collective DATG (Dieter and The Gadabouts); music fanatics and specialists in live performance, music production, remixing and Djing, will be providing the Sunday tunes.

The aim is to create good Sunday vibes of fun, warmth and feeling; a suitable tonic for nursing the hangover or continuing the party.

There's also the Hair of the Dog brunch to be had over the weekend. This is a meal deal with hangovers in mind. For the next 4 weeks you can enjoy any main from their Brunch menu, a coffee and a Bloody Mary for only £10 - if you want to pass on the vodka you can opt for a Virgin Mary instead. Here's the menu to whet your weekend appetite...

Eggs Benedict
Toasted English muffin, two poached free range eggs, ham and Hollandaise sauce

Eggs Florentine
Toasted English muffin, two poached free range eggs, wilted spinach and Hollandaise sauce
