Christmas Parties At James Martin Manchester

COMPANIES looking for a venue for a large Christmas party have an exciting new option to add to their list this year.

Manchester235's new destination restaurant James Martin Manchester has just announced plans to open at lunchtime for workplaces who want to hire the whole venue for their Christmas party.

130924_Jamesmartin_Manchester235_070And companies booking the three-course festive menu for 50 people or more will be given a free bubble drinks reception to get their party off to a celebratory start.

James Martin Manchester is one of the biggest restaurant openings of the year. The food is traditional British and it's all catered by the celebrity chef from the BBC's Saturday Kitchen and James Martin's Food Map of Britain.

His Christmas menu looks fantastic – see it below. Prices are £25 for two courses, £30 for three courses (Sunday-Thursday) and £30 for two courses, £35 for three courses (Friday and Saturday).

It's in the glamorous Manchester235 in the Great Northern, set apart from the casino floor, and is perfect for companies who want to treat their people to something really special this Christmas.

The restaurant is taking exclusive-use bookings for workplaces of between 50 and 170 people for daytimes throughout December. (Smaller groups are invited to book into the restaurant in the evening for their Christmas celebrations).

Starter

Smoked salmon with cucumber ketchup and tapioca crisp 

Roast pumpkin soup with lime, toasted seeds and croutons

Chicken and ham hock terrine with beer mustard and charred oranges

 

Main course

Roast Vale of York turkey with trimmings

Double-baked Coverdale cheese soufflé with a walnut and dandelion salad (v)

Pan-fried stone bass with lemon purée, barley herb and cauliflower couscous

 

Desserts

Sticky toffee pudding with homemade vanilla ice cream

Classic lemon tart with crème fraîche

Christmas pudding with rum custard and satsuma ice cream

 

Sunday – Thursday: £25 for 2 courses  •  £30 for 3 courses

Friday and Saturday: £30 for 2 courses  •  £35 for 3 courses
