BLACK Dog ballroom has been leading us astray on the corner of Church Street for five years now. Time certainly flies when you can't remember much of it.
The 'New York style' basement boozer and diner opened in 2009 and has continued to cause a stir in the Northern Quarter since. Following the arrival of Black Dog, owners Ross MacKenzie and Jobe Ferguson have taken the brand from strength-to-strength and rolled-out a number of further operations including Dog Bowl on Whitworth Street and most recently, Xolo Tequila bar on New Wakefield Street.
To celebrate half a decade, the team threw a party in their typical style; filthy food, cocktails, beer, billiards and b-boy battles until dawn.
