Great Northern Tours

Where do we meet?
The Great Northern Tunnel tours start at the pebble sculpture outside the Bridgewater Hall. Please meet 15 minutes before your tour time.

Where does the tour finish?
Outside the Great Northern Warehouse, near the corner of Deansgate / Peter Street.

How long does the tour last?
The tour lasts approximately 75 minutes.

What do I need to bring?
Please bring your PayPal receipt – this acts as your ticket. And don't forget your torch.

I haven’t received a ticket – what should I do?
You will have been emailed an automatic PayPal receipt when you booked. This acts as your ticket. Please print it out and bring it with you to the tour.

If you have not received your PayPal receipt please email enquiries@theconfidentials.co.uk and let us know the email address you booked with and the date of your tour so we can get this resent for you.

What do I wear?
Sensible shoes such as wellington boots or trainers. It is slightly muddy but you won't need to wade through water.

Do I need to wear waterproofs?
Not unless you really want to.

Is there wheelchair access?
Unfortunately not. There is a large flight of stairs to descend and ascend. And there's a 2ft drop during the tour that you'll need to negotiate.

Are children allowed on the tour?
Yes. We recommend that they're over the age of 12 but you know what your child can handle better than we do. They should be fine if they're not afraid of the dark and can walk around unaided.

We don’t recommend bringing babies or toddlers. There's a 2ft drop during the tour that would be difficult to negotiate with small children. The tunnels aren't suitable for prams (even all-terrain three-wheelers).

Haunted Underworld Tours

Where do we meet?
The Haunted Underworld Tours start at the War Memorial in St Ann's Square. Please meet 15 minutes before your tour time.

Where does the tour finish?
Deansgate

How long does the tour last?
The tour lasts approximately 75 minutes.

What do I need to bring?
Please bring your PayPal receipt – this acts as your ticket. 

I haven’t received a ticket – what should I do?
You will have been emailed an automatic PayPal receipt when you booked. This acts as your ticket. Please print it out and bring it with you to the tour.

If you have not received your PayPal receipt please email enquiries@theconfidentials.co.uk and let us know the email address you booked with and the date of your tour so we can get this resent for you.

What do I wear?
Sensible shoes such as trainers. It isn’t muddy down there. 

Do I need to wear waterproofs?
No.

Is there wheelchair access?
Unfortunately not. There is a flight of stairs to descend and ascend.

You also have the option to walk up another long flight of stairs to the rooftop – only if you want to though.

Are children allowed on the tour?
Yes. We recommend that they're over the age of 12 but you know what your child can handle better than we do. They should be fine if they're not afraid of the dark and can walk around unaided.

The tour involves numerous special effects so we don’t recommend it for children who are easily scared.

Please call the restaurant, quoting the voucher ID on your receipt to complete the payment and book your table. Full details can be found on the offer page.

Please print out your receipt and bring it along to the restaurant when you dine.

Where can I find my voucher ID?
This will be on your receipt which is automatically emailed to you when you pay the deposit.

I haven’t received a receipt – what do I do?
You will have received an automatic receipt when you paid your deposit. If you have not received your receipt please email enquiries@theconfidentials.co.uk and let us know the email address you booked with and the offer you have taken up, so we can get this resent for you.

How can I amend a booking?
If you would like to add people on to your booking, please pay the deposit for the difference.

How do I get a refund?
Deposits are non-refundable.

If there has been an error and your booking has gone through twice please forward your receipt to enquiries@theconfidentials.co.uk explaining the full situation so we can organise a refund for you.

I can’t see the offer page any more – how can I find it?
Please use the search bar to search for the restaurant name – the results are ordered oldest to newest, so the page you're looking for will more than likely be the last link.

What do I need to bring to the restaurant?
Please take your receipt – you can't use the offer without this.

Can I just turn up at the restaurant?
You must call to book your table before going to the restaurant. Please don't turn up without telephoning in advance – you won't be able to use the offer.
