Mary Poppins is en-route to the Palace Theatre this December. Yes, it’s a while off but hey that umbrella is hardly Concorde.
Following a highly successful three and a half year run and over 1000 perfomances in London’s West End, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s award-winning musical Mary Poppins embarks on a major international tour in 2008.
Manchester is one of only five British dates the show is playing and is the only northern date of the tour before it heads overseas in late summer 2009.
Mary Poppins will open at the Palace Theatre, Manchester on Weds 10 December, where it plays until Sat 7 March 2009.
Tickets for Mary Poppins went on sale 8 February at 10am. The word is that this internationally renowned show will sell out fast. So hurry and book your tickets to avoid any disappointment.
Performances are Mon-Sat 7.30pm with additional 2.30pm shows on Weds and Sat. Tickets cost £12.50-£42.50. For tickets and more information please visit www.palaceandoperahouse.org.uk
