ENGLAND may be out of the world cup, Andy Murray may be out of Wimbledon, but there’s still plenty to smile about at the Frog and Bucket this summer. So swap the gogglebox for giggles and prepare for a comedy extravaganza.

Nando’s New Comedian of the Year

Nando’s and Big Comedy UK have joined forces and scoured the land for the freshest and funniest new comedy talent. After heats in Nando’s up and down the UK, it’s now semi-final time. So get ready for giggles, guffaws and some good old belly laughs as competitors vie for a place in the Grand Final at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the chance to become Nando’s New Comedian of the Year.

The semi-finalists will be pulling out all the stops and compere Brendan Riley will be master of ceremonies, ensuring chuckles aplenty all evening. As if that’s not enough, all proceeds go to children’s charity, Brainwave, so you can laugh yourself silly and feel good about it at the same time.

Tuesday 22 July 8pm £3 - Book tickets now

The Brendon Burns Show

Aussie loudmouth, cult legend and all-round trouble maker, Brendon Burns is back with a new show. Expect the unexpected – Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions that last way too long, in-your-face controversy and meandering ruminations that not only test the boundaries of bad taste, they smash them to pieces with a ruddy great pickaxe.

Think of it more as an out-of-body experience rather than your average stand-up routine.
