IF you've been itching to try All Star Lanes Manchester, the boutique ten-pin bowling alley in the Great Northern, here's some news for you.
The food here is galaxies away from the greasy snacks served in bowling alleys of the past
They've just launched a deal running on Sundays-Wednesdays until the end of June that gives you the full All Star Lanes experience for a discounted price.
The Eat Drink Bowl Deal includes two courses of their delicious food, a cocktail and a game of bowling for just £29 per person.
The food here is galaxies away from the greasy snacks served in bowling alleys of the past (which went from freezer to microwave to your plastic tray). At All Star Lanes, your meal is prepared fresh by their chefs using high-quality ingredients and served in a glam, US-style diner.
Choose your two courses from the Eat Drink Bowl Deal Menu. Start with the delicious popcorn squid and aioli, or mac and cheese croquettes, before moving on to succulent southern fried chicken, a fresh quinoa and avocado salad, or the premium hamburger which is cooked to order on their Josper grill.
If that wasn’t enough you also get to pick a side to complement your main! Desserts stick with the retro Americana theme: rocky road sundae, cherry pie and ice cream and baked vanilla cheesecake just to name a few.
With this deal you can choose from six popular mixes including the Derby Royal (Jack Daniel's No 7 with vanilla, mint, and lemon juice over crushed ice and topped with prosecco) and the Raspberry Bramble (Bombay Sapphire, raspberry puree and lemon juice).
Then there's the game itself. All Star Lanes Manchester has eight gleaming, lanes for groups of up to seven. You may have forgotten how much fun ten pin bowling actually is. Why not go and rediscover it at All Star Lanes? For a bowling night out that's slick, hip and 1950s-esque, this is the place to go.
The Eat Drink Bowl Deal at All Star Lanes Manchester runs Sundays-Wednesdays until 30 June. To book, call 0161 871 3600.
