FIFA, international football's governing body, and former Italian PM Silvio 'he's not the PM, he's a very naughty boy' Berlusconi, share an enormous amount in common.
Mainly that each has taken more kickbacks than Harry the Horse Arse Tickler.
"Si, amore cantore Silvio kiss kiss. La vita dolce, signorina. Adesso!"
But quite why 'The Great Seducer' has muscled his way in (with the help of a few slick heavies no doubt) on this tetrad of England footballing heroes is unclear - a tan-off with Gary, perhaps?
Ok the man below is not supposed to be Berlusconi but 'The Wizard of Dribble' Stanley Matthews.
Wax sculpting is clearly a difficult business and one where at any moment classic English footballers from the Golden Age (impoverished) of English football can easily morph into Italian bunga-bunga politicians.
With the World Cup 2014 in Brazil approaching faster than a Roberto Carlos left-peg, the National Football Museum has teamed up with Madame Tussauds in Blackpool to 'deliver a snapshot of the famous white shirt over the years'.
To celebrate the start of the World Cup, the five wax Tussauds footballers are on loan to the museum for the duration of the World Cup (until Sunday 13 July). Visitors will be given the chance to have their photo taken with the wax sculptures.
Philippa Duxbury, marketing manager at the National Football Museum said: “We are always looking for different ways to display our objects and this is a quirky way of bringing the different shirts to life and seeing the advances in the country’s most recognisable kit. This is a fantastic way to kick off our extensive schedule of World Cup activities and events."
