MANCHESTER band, The Courteeners will perform at Manchester Arena on Friday 7 December.
The performance promises a selection of new tracks from the band’s forthcoming studio album due for release in January 2013, alongside classics from St Jude and Falcon.
Singer songwriter Liam Fray said: "We are delighted to be coming back to the city. The Manchester Arena holds amazing memories for us and we cannot wait to create a whole host of new ones on what will be a very special night."
Support comes from Scottish indie rockers The View. Tickets go on sale on Friday 31 August at 9am priced £23.50 and £15 (subject to booking fee) and are available via www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk

That must be the cheapest prices I seen for a rock concert at the Arena.If only more bands charged those sort of prices.I know bands these days rely on ticket sales rather than music sales to make a living,but charge a bit less and you will expand your audience.
