ORIGINALLY the award winning artist was set to play the Academy in Manchester on 21 October. This has now been changed to 2 December.
The tour already features singer-songwriter Labrinth and Rizzle Kicks have been added as special guests on all shows from 3 November.
Professor Green became one of music’s biggest new stars in 2010 with the release of his debut album Alive Till I’m Dead and his three massive hit singles ‘I Need You Tonight’, ‘Just Be Good To Green’ and ‘Monster’ selling over half a million copies. The Professor also pulled in a string of gongs, winning MOBO’s Best Hip Hop/Grime Act, NME Best Dance Floor Filler Award for ‘Jungle’ and the BT Digital Music Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
Fans who don’t catch him at one of the top British festivals can look forward to Professor Green’s autumn tour and the release of his eagerly-anticipated second album At Your Inconvenience. This album sees a huge leap forward in Green’s sound but no departure from his characteristically cheeky cultural references. The first single from the album, ‘Read all about it’, to be released on 24 October is an autobiographical confessional, featuring his most intimate lyrics and impassioned words yet. The single also features an incredible guest vocal from solo artist Emeli Sande.
