I'm a regular compère of XS Malarkey, and I'm currently on an international tour of my one man show Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf (which is also available on a Sony nominated CD). I'm also touring in Totally Looped with Phill Jupitus, Marcus Brigstocke and Sanjeev Bhaskar.
I can pretty much listen to anything, so my tastes are very eclectic. I tend to listen to a lot of the stuff that was about when I was younger, so as a teenager from the 80’s I like The Police, The Specials, Madness, Tracy Chapman and the much missed Kirsty MacColl.
Cheesily, at the moment I’d say 'I’ve Had The Time Of My Life' from Dirty Dancing because my fiancée loves it and, as a professional singer, sings it beautifully. She sometimes forces me to join in. The results aren’t quite so beautiful, but we have such fun times together it doesn’t matter.
I also love 'Mr Blue Sky' by ELO – that’ll probably be played at my funeral (it features heavily in an episode of Doctor Who too, which is a bonus).
