What types of music do you like?
Although I think my taste in music is fairly eclectic – from ska to pop to house and a bit of punk, now I’ve put this list together (apart from The Script track), it’s all looking a little retro, isn’t it? I’ve always loved hearing music live and was lucky to have been a producer on the first series of Fame Academy for BBC1. It meant I got to stand about five feet away from legends such as Lionel Richie when they sang in the house. I’ll always be gutted I never got to see The Jam though.
What's the song that means the most to you and why?
I’ve chosen 'Hey Jude' by The Beatles because it’s the song that made the biggest impact on me when I first heard it and still moves me today. I wasn’t born when it was released (honest!) but was lucky to hear Paul McCartney play it live, outside in the dark at Knebworth’s Silver Clef Award Winners Concert when I was about 16. I can still remember going from awe-struck with goosebumps to singing along, sobbing, all in the space of about ten minutes.
1 'Hey Jude' by The Beatles
2 'That’s Entertainment' by The Jam
3 'Atomic' by Blondie
4 'Fools Gold' by Stone Roses
5 'Shine On' by Degrees of Motion featuring Biti (1992 version)
6 'Teenage Kicks' by The Undertones
7 'Ghost Town' by The Specials
8 'We Cry' by The Script
9 'Space Cowboy' (David Morales remix) by Jamiroquai
10 'What’s Inside a Girl' by The Cramps

I am indeed a cynic, molded by the world in which we live.
I think this is a good idea to carry forward.....music taste is a great way to stimulate conversation. I quite like some of the tracks although I'd do my own version of 'Hey Jude' - by dressing up as Anne Of Cleaves and standing on an Arts & Crafts piano stool whilst playing the song through a small plastic trumpet accompanied by Gordo who could join in the chorus at the same time as gargling with a glass of TCP. Get that on YouTube and you'd send Google Analytics for ManCon into and unknown state!
I might be being cynical now but isn't that a picture of Annabelle Croft when she was young and sexy?
EDITORIALLY REMOVED: listen there's no need to be rude about someone you don't know, who is being perfectly harmless. Don't read if you don't like these. We have an editorial team which makes the decisions about content on here and we like the We7 stuff so it's staying.
Dunno how you can say some of those tracks are dull at all...
great to se the cramps in there...long way from being a dull band...
Your cynicism let you down there Castlefield. Gordo just looked that up on Google. Didn't you Gordo? Come on, admit it! Ha ha.
Descartes, don't be so daft! PR people think about everything before they say it, that's why they're good at PR. There will have been some hefty thought behind this.
Gordo, I love you. Do a book. I will let you know how good it is.
Or maybe (and I know this is an insane suggestion) maybe the girls just got good taste in music?
Can't get over the nasty, personal comments at the top. Charming lads, really charming.
You say Joanna is portraying an image and the music is specifically chosen to fit with that image. Can't the lady just be herself and do her job without being accused of fakery? Castlefield my friend, you are a cynic.
Castlefield, it's Plas Bodegroes restaurant with food near Pwllheli, well, its nearly west Snowdonia... LL53 5TH 01758 612363
EDITORIALLY REMOVED: see comment above and maybe calm a little.
I think, and I don't know, that he's getting at that the list is dull. EDITORIAL COMMENT: you should be ashamed Castlefield. This last comment, now removed, was nonsense. Listen foks, be funny, be intelligent but maybe choose the correct targets when attacking people. And there's no need to be cruel.
I have faith in Gordo. He's told me other places to go. At Easter I had a wonderful meal in a market in Barcelona thanks to the very man. He has gained my trust, he must be good.
She's gorgeous and she's into The Specials - what's not to like?
can i just point out before anyone thinks we all had a right go, that it was nothing of the sort. Unless I'm wrong, I don't think anyone did. I think the editorial comments make it look worse than it was. Mr ape I think if you'd see them pre edit you would agree.
Morning, can't remember my comment being cruel, if it was I'm sorry, and ashamed. However wasn't I just suggesting that a PR person would make their list fit in with the profile they were trying to portray. Isn't that what they do? I like their website though. Whilst you're obviously reading this Ed, can you ask Gordo to reccomend a good place to eat in west Snowdonia. I'm sure he knows somewhere. Cheers!
i think the amount of editorial edits in this list proves its a joke of a feature - stick to what your good at editorial and go bully a restaurant somewhere
