A Basement Jaxx DJ set will headline a fundraiser event for Japan at Sankeys nightclub on Friday 22 April (Good Friday).
The night, presented by FAC51, also stars Justin Robertson, Delphic (DJ set), Peter Hook, Jon Dasilva, Dave Haslam, 808 State (DJ set), Rowetta (live PA), Herbie Saccani, Oli Furness, Zutech (DJs), and Micron (DJs).
FAC51 decided to organise the event after the Hacienda's tour of Japan was postponed due to the earthquake. All proceeds will go to the various disaster charities in Japan offering some relief to the worse stricken areas.
Updates on how and where the money has been spent will be available on the Hacienda website, www.fac51thehacienda.com.
Online donations can be made now at www.justgiving.com.
Tickets cost £15 advance. The event takes place at Sankeys on Friday 22 April, 10pm-5am.
It's an excellent line-up and money raised will offer relief to the worst stricken areas of Japan. It's likely to sell out fast.
