THINK members club and you might imagine an elitist place that requires a secret handshake and a millionaire's salary to get inside. At The Milton Club, a new modern day members club on Deansgate, they're keen to explain that they're not like that at all.
You're not just another customer, you're part of the club
This club and bar is all about welcoming you, not about scanning down a clipboard list and turning you away. It's free to join and anyone who is a professional and age 25 or over can apply.
So, why would you want to become a member of The Milton Club? Put simply, because it's a gorgeous place to spend your evenings. Situated in Milton Hall, this sumptuous bar and club was styled by top designer Bernard Carroll – it's one of the best-looking new openings we've seen. With a classic drinks menu, modern cocktails, superb wine list, and a champagne bar, it's the perfect place for elegant drinks.
Early evening it's a place to relax and unwind. But as the night progresses, it becomes more nightclub than bar with a music policy that appeals to over 25s. It's open until 4am, and on Friday and Saturday nights there's a real party atmosphere.
As a member, you receive a host of benefits including free entry before 11pm for you and three guests and discounted entry after 11pm. You get priority booth reservations and discounted venue hire, and you'll be sent invites to parties and selected events. Members can also take advantage of a concierge service including car collections and reservations with partner venues.
Becoming a member adds another element to your social life and is useful if you want to meet other professionals in Manchester. But we think the main attraction is the warm buzz you get from having a place in the city centre where you feel at home. As a member, you get a personal service and a friendly welcome from a team who will remember you from your last visit. You're not just another customer, you're part of the club.
Why not go along as a guest on a Friday to see if you like it? It's free entry before 9pm. Or, if you're already keen to become a member, just fill in the form on their website: The Milton Club.
