Lightsabers at the ready, for you could be one of the first in Manchester to see the resolution of Star Wars, the biggest movie saga in film history.

All the questions that you’ve wanted to know since the first instalment of Star Wars was released in 1977 will finally be answered when Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is finally released this week – How exactly does Anakin turn into Darth Vader? What becomes of the Jedi Knights? How does Yoda end up on that weird swamp-like planet? And how come Darth Vader didn’t recognise C3PO in the first three films, even though he built him himself?

Anticipation for the final, well, third chapter in the trilogy has been heated up to boiling point for Star Wars fans across the galaxy and, with the premiere not so far far away, thefilmworks have come up trumps again to deliver the first showing in Manchester, very very early at 12.31am on the big day - Thursday 19th May. With another showing at 6.15am, the force is strong at thefilmworks empire.

After the first two dodgy chapters, the general consensus is that the third instalment is a return to form for whippy-haired George Lucas. Episode III will wrap things up and explain all of the things that have been missing before Luke Skywalker sets out on his adventures, and you’ll be able to find out about Chewbacca’s roots as the story takes a visit to his home planet.

So, to celebrate, all you need to do to win the tickets for the 12.31am showing on May 19th (This Thursday!) is find Chewbacca the Wookie in our Where's Wookie competition!
