Smallpetitklein’s critically acclaimed sell-out show, Within This Dust, is fresh from performances in New York City, Brazil and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. This hauntingly beautiful programme of dance is created by award-winning choreographer Thomas Small, and is inspired by Richard Drew’s series of photographs that capture a man falling from the World Trade Center during the 9/11 attacks.

HUNT AND DARTON ART CAFÉ | Station Approach Piccadilly | Until 25 Mar

This is a not a typical café. It isn't just arty, it's art, say performance artists Hunt and Darton (see the pineapple heads below). The duo have launched their award-winning pop-up café meets performance art installation in Manchester after visiting several locations over two years. In association with SICK! Festival and working alongside the Art Council, they promise lots of edible surprises and encourage playful participation and meaningful social encounters. Oh, and you can order a cup of tea and a roast dinner sandwich.

SARAH LUCAS: TITS IN SPACE | The Whitworth | Until 19 July

One of the newly reopened Whitworth's more left field opening exhibitions, Tits In Space, sees the gallery walls covered with multiple pairs of cigarette-encrusted breast-like, planetoid orbs floating on a pitch black background (acting as loaded metaphors for the body and 'the formulaic ways in which we visualise it', of course). In front of the wallpaper collection sits a selection of sculptures by the internationally renowned British artist.
