There's No Party like A Barge Party

Plan a party with a difference with Dry Barge

There's No Party like A Barge Party

TIRED of the same run of the mill parties? Is no-one turning up to your events? Then perhaps you need to host your next soirée somewhere different.

A party on Dry Barge's Bohemia Barge is a social event like nothing you will have been to before. Holding up to 60 people, guests can board your floating venue where you can have food, drinks and music as you please. The barge itself is wonderfully ornate, and well cared for – a reminder of the canal culture that is at the heart of Manchester. However, the true spectacle is the city itself. Manchester really comes alive at night, as breath taking architecture provides the perfect backdrop to any special evening.

Image7This is a great venue for any event – birthdays, corporate events or even just a relaxed get together with friends – but it would be perfect for that unmissable Christmas party. With summer drawing to a close, the festive season is the next big celebration and the idea of a Christmas party on the canals of Manchester is something everyone will want to know about. The uniqueness of this experience means it’s best to book in advance, especially if you have a specific date in mind.

As well as barges available for private hire, Dry Barge in association with Dukes 92 also offers trip to Old Trafford on Manchester Utd match days. Rather than crawling to the Theatre of Dreams in traffic or cramming onto a tram, the Bohemia Barge allows you a relaxing 40 minute cruise down from Castlefield to the stadium. Travelling by barge gives you plenty of time to have a couple of drinks, discuss the match and relax with your friends without having to battle the crowds. At £12 for a return trip, it's an affordable way to get to the big match too.

With places limited to 60 people, these trips fill up fast, especially for the big games, so act fast if you want to get on board.
