The popular markets are back in the city thanks to French traders, Team Fantastique who visit St Ann’s Square and Chorlton Town Centre each year with their traditional French fayre.
The French Markets will be open in St Ann’s Square from this Thursday 10 September until Sunday 13 September and in Chorlton on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September.
Stalls in St Ann’s Square will offer favourite French foods such as crepes, garlic onion, French cheeses, and sweet treats straight from the bakery, alongside other goods and giftware such as natural Marseilles soaps, hand made baskets and pashminas.
The Chorlton French Market will be offering delicacies such as dried Auvergne sausage, pates, chorizo and French and continental cheeses, while also including a brand new feature – the French bakery with delicious and tempting pastries.
Councillor Paul Andrews, Manchester City Council’s Executive Member for Neighbourhood Services said: “Manchester is well known for its excellent specialist markets and the French Market is no exception. Team Fantastique have certainly made their mark in the city as shoppers welcome the choice, value and quality of the products that the French Markets offer.”
Manchester’s French Markets will be open in St Ann’s Square from Thursday 10 September until Sunday 13 September, 10 am until 6pm and Chorlton Town Centre (next to the library) Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September 10am to 5pm.
